William Rast was originally a denim-only label founded by Justin Timberlake and has now expanded into a complete lifestyle collection, quickly becoming a big name in the world of fashion.
Unpacking the brand story
William Rast was preparing to launch a series of promotional events around the US and Europe. To assist in driving exposure and engagement, a content strategy focused on showcasing new collections, featuring lookbooks, and of course introducing the brand story.

Leadership at the brand desired a homepage focused mainly around the ability to feature a broad range of media formats to create an impactful brand destination for various promotions, media engagements, and product launches.
The Project Vision
To reignite the brand through a full overhaul of the existing website and user experience, an interactive media platform was developed to support the launch and the ongoing brand experience.

The brand's seasonal collections needed a place to fully showcase the vibe, attitude and apparel. Fullscreen interactive scrolling layouts were created to provide and impact way of featuring the new and ongoing collections.
Come closer
In addition to featured the high-impact campaign shoots throughout the site, providing users with the ability to take a closer look at the actual clothing required custom designed interactive galleries and fullscreen zoom functionality, as well as the ability for users to share on their own social media.

The site supports and showcases interactive lookbooks, seasonal campaigns, social media, as well as features a multimedia blog platform to drive consumer engagement and global exposure.

With such an interesting backstory on the brand's roots, celebrity founder and industry heavyweight fashion designers, creating an About page to feature behind the scenes videos, interviews, and feature content provided an open arena to tell the brand story.
